What We Do

Spatial Spider provide training materials and practical sessions in GIS for a wide variety of audiences, from academics to consultants. Our academic clients include undergraduate and postgraduate students in Environmental Science, International Development and Planning. Spatial Spider are able to design and facilitate a bespoke training course for you and your colleagues (or students), or to provide advice and content to enable you to run your own training session.

GIS can be used to provide solutions in many different situations and subjects. Spatial Spider provide training in a wide variety of GIS software, including many freely available, open source GIS including QGIS, R and OpenGeoDa. We can tailor the course to meet your requirements, across academic, commercial or non-commercial organisations. We can also provide training in ArcGIS for non-commercial use. Spatial Spider are also able to undertake cartographic consultancy work, be it creating maps for inclusion in academic journal articles, professional publications or presentations.
